Do you find lessons based on worksheets and workbooks just aren't
enough? Do you often create your own lessons to motivate your
students and supplement the curriculum you've been given to teach?
Maybe you have wonderful lesson plans, units, or games that you've
created for your class that you'd like to share with other teachers?
Or perhaps you have a tip that you'd like to share with your fellow teachers. Become part of the T.I.P.S product development team and share your
creative ideas while making some extra money in the process!
T.I.P.S. is always searching for new and exciting ways to help teachers
implement lessons that go beyond worksheets or workbooks. We
are looking for original lesson plans, thematic units, and learning
center activities that are easy for teachers to implement and
exciting for students. If you feel that you've got something
to share, read the guidelines below and submit your idea.
Guidelines
Whether you'd like to submit a tip, a single lesson plan, a learning
center game, or a partial/ entire unit, your activity should
be easy to implement and not require a tremendous amount of extra
preparation time for teachers.
The necessary materials should be easily available at most schools,
and books should be titles that are found in most school or public
libraries. We strongly encourage the use of children's literature
as part of any lesson plan. However, any books that are used
as part of the lesson plan must include the title, author and
publisher and cannot include any graphics, photos, or illustrations,
lengthy quotations or excerpts from a book, poem, article, or
any other print medium that would require copyright permission.
All final plans should be submitted in word processing document format and sent via email as an attachment, or you can fax all the information necessary to (954) 217-9807.
Answers for any question based lessons must be included. For
